Offered by Thomas Classics, this verified Fremont-body, Flint-assembled GTO represents an authentic early example of the muscle-car era. It’s finished in its factory-correct Nocturne Blue Metallic (W-W) over Dark Blue Vinyl bucket seats (TR 215) — one of Pontiac’s most elegant “blue-on-blue” combinations. This GTO had a concours body-off-frame restoration to like-new factory condition. The frame and chassis components were stripped and refinished in semi-gloss black, while all suspension and steering components were rebuilt or replaced. It features the optional F40 suspension and handling package, which includes quick-ratio steering, stiffer springs, heavy-duty shocks, and a front sway bar — even retaining the correct spiral shocks. The brake system was completely restored with all-new lines and parking-brake assembly, and equipped with the optional metallic brake linings. The fuel system was replaced, including tank and lines. It wears the correct dual-exhaust system with staggered mufflers and turndown tailpipes. Underneath, the motor and driveline are spotless, with a freshly rebuilt Muncie M20 4-speed transmission, crisp linkage, rebuilt driveshaft, and Safe-T-Track limited-slip rear end. The underbody is rust-free metal, prepped and neatly sprayed satin black. Under the hood sits a strong 389 cubic-inch V8 with the iconic Tri-Power carburetion (three Rochester 2-barrels). It fires instantly, idles smoothly, and delivers the unmistakable deep rumble only a real GTO can.
